Fireplace

  • Remote is located on the side of the left hand side fireplace wall

  • To turn on the pilot lamp, press the up arrow and power buttons on the remote simultaneously. Wait for the clicks. If the lamp isnt lit, try again.

  • Once the pilot lamp is on, use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the fire.

  • To turn off, press the power button on the remote.

Thermostats

  • Radiant floor heating throughout the house

  • AC in the bedroom/bathroom wing only

  • Living room, Kitchen, Dining room, entryway and mudroom floor heat controlled by Nest thermostat next to entry stairs

  • Bedroom and bathroom wing floor heat and AC controlled by Nest thermostat in master bedroom

  • Garage floor heat controlled by garage Nest thermostat.

Smart Light Switches

  • All the light switches in the house are wifi enabled and connected to Google Assistant.

  • In any room, turn on or off all lights by saying “Ok Google, turn on lights” or “Ok Google, turn off lights”

  • For a specific room - “Ok Google, turn on Living Room lights”

  • Other room names - Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Master bedroom, North bedroom, South bedroom, Kids room, Master bathroom, North bathroom, Kids bathroom, hallway, mudroom, garage, entryway, backyard.

Watch Live TV

  • Open Sling TV app on any TV for live TV

Stream Music and Video from your device

  • Connect to the 2514SUMMITGUEST wifi network

  • Chromecast to Google Nest speakers in every room, hot tub and patio.

  • Chromecast or Apple Airplay to TVs in the living room, master bedroom, kids room and garage.

Living Room Shades

  • Living room shades are automated and are controlled only by the remote control

  • The top two (left and right) buttons of the remote let you pick a specific shade to raise or lower. Shades are numbered from 1-9 starting from the left most shade when you're facing the fireplace and going around the room to the shade in the dining area.

  • If you want to raise and lower all the shades, set the remote to #16 and press the up or down keys.

  • The shades are battery operated and might need to be charged. Connect the charger to the specific shades' wire, you might need to use an extension cord to reach it.

Kitchen

  • There are baking dishes, an Instapot, a rice cooker, a roaster etc in the drawers on the other side of the island (next to the bar stools)

Dishwasher

  1. If the washer isn’t on, touch “On/Off” for two seconds

  2. Touch which cycle you want: “Auto”, “Normal”, etc

  3. Optionally touch delay “+/-” for delaying the start

  4. Optionally touch additional options you want “Power Boost”, “Half Load”, etc

  5. Add dishwasher detergent to the left side container and slide forward

    1. Drying agent goes in the right side container

  6. Touch start and close the dishwasher

Troubleshooting

  1. Sometimes, the display shows a “0:01” or you cannot select the cycle and it switches back to a specific cycle every time. Try holding down Reset for 3 seconds, then touch “On/Off” to turn the dishwasher off. Touch On again and hopefully things are back to normal.

Microwave

  1. If off completely, press on to show time.

  2. When time is showing, press on to show options.

  3. Can scroll through by swiping left for pre-set options on the touchscreen.

  4. To set your own time, select the Microwave option on the touchscreen.

  5. At this point you can add time in 30 second increments and hit Start/Stop.

  6. To change strength, select % and choose between 80, 90, 100 % and select with the checkmark.

  7. To change time select 00min 00s

    1. Here, you can choose hours, minutes, seconds.

    2. Select the checkmark to set the microwave time.

    3. Once back at the main screen showing the microwave time, select Start/Stop

Kids Room

  • There are Apple TV game controllers in the remote box. To charge, please connect to a USB charger

Miscellaneous

  • There are flashlights next to the kitchen counter and in the hallway attached to the wall sockets for use in case of a city wide power outage
